Discover Malta’s capital city, Valletta

The smallest European capital, but big on attraction, is a must when visiting Malta. Its charming historic streets, adorned with beautiful baroque architecture, are sure to delight anyone who takes the time to explore them.

Go to the Crystal Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon

Comino is one of the most visited sights in Malta, and for good reason. It is best known for its clear, crystal blue waters and rich marine life.

We opted for a one day trip on a boat to see these lagoons. Firstly we stopped at the Crystal Lagoon, a beautiful dive and snorkel site. Surrounded by water and cliffs you either jump in the water or stay on the boat.

Next we sailed to the Blue Lagoon. Here you could enjoy the view from the land or from the water. We did not stay much on the shore as the water was more appealing.

Have fun at the Popeye village

Popeye village, built as a film set for the movie Popeye, nowadays serves as an open-air museum and seaside resort. While visiting these charming, colorful houses, you can participate in various land and water activities, as well as take a 15-minute boat trip, which is included in the entrance fee.

Explore the charming fishing village of Marsaxlokk

Marsaxlokk is a traditional fishing village situated in the southeast region of Malta. Its main attraction is its stunning harbor. That is to say, this town is home to a variety of vessels, including the traditional Maltese fishing boats known as luzzus, which are painted with a distinctive eye on the bow. Called the eye of Eye of Horus or of Osiris, which is a symbol of protection.

Consider trying horseback riding during your visit to Malta, and make it even more special by scheduling your ride at sunset. We were looking for activities to do on the island and came across this option, which we thought was a great idea. Some of us had never ridden a horse before, but the friendly owners at Golden Bay Horse Riding took care of us and made sure we were comfortable. Discover the old city, Mdina

If you want more history visit Mdina. Without a doubt this city is the oldest from Malta. Founded around the 8th century BC by Phoenician settlers as Maleth, later was renamed Melite by the Romans . Moreover Mdina was the capital city from antiquity to the medieval period.

Cliff jump at St. Peter’s Pool

Next to wandering around Marsaxlokk and trying out different sea foods there is a more adventurous way to spend your day. You can take a boat trip to St. Peter’s pool. It is a natural swimming pool with crystal clear water. On top of that cliff jump is allowed and its quite a show sometimes.
